Terms of Service

Last updated: February 2026

1. Service description

MakeMind Labs ("Service") provides an AI-powered compound intelligence engine that processes customer support tickets, code reviews, and research analysis. The Service learns and improves over time based on interaction data.

2. Account and access

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your API keys and credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Service to generate harmful, illegal, or misleading content; attempt to reverse-engineer the learning algorithms; submit data you do not have rights to process; exceed rate limits or circumvent cost controls.

4. Data processing

The Service processes text data you submit through the API. All personally identifiable information (PII) is automatically detected and masked before storage. See our Privacy Policy for details.

5. AI-generated content

All responses generated by the Service are drafts requiring human review before use. MakeMind Labs does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of AI-generated responses. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all outputs before they reach your customers.

6. Draft mode

For the first 30 days of any deployment, all agent responses operate in draft-only mode. Human approval is required before any response is sent to end users. This cannot be overridden.

7. Service availability

We target 99% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service depends on third-party LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic) whose availability is outside our control.

8. Pricing and billing

Free pilot includes 14 days and up to 1,000 tickets. Paid plans are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

9. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of all data you submit. MakeMind Labs retains ownership of the learning algorithms, system prompts, and collective intelligence patterns. Anonymized patterns contributed to the collective intelligence pool are shared under the terms described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Limitation of liability

MakeMind Labs is not liable for any damages arising from the use of AI-generated content, service interruptions, or data loss. Maximum liability is limited to fees paid in the preceding 12 months.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. Upon termination, you may export your data within 30 days. After 30 days, all data associated with your account will be permanently deleted.

12. Changes to terms

We may update these terms with 30 days notice via email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

1. Data we collect

2. PII handling

All text submitted to the Service passes through our PII detector before storage. The following data types are automatically detected and masked:

Masked data is replaced with tokens (e.g., [EMAIL_REDACTED]) before any storage or processing. Original PII is never stored.

3. How we use data

4. Collective intelligence

If you opt in, anonymized learning patterns (not raw data) may be contributed to a shared pattern pool. Patterns are stripped of any identifying information and hashed before sharing. You can opt out at any time in Settings. Opting out does not remove previously contributed patterns (as they are already anonymized).
